Jeffrey & Moira Caruso Wedding

You have moments in your life where you just stop, gaze around, smile and take in your surroundings. You look around thinking…. wow, this is perfect. This is a moment of a lifetime.

This is how I felt all weekend for their wedding in Providence, Rhode Island. We had the honor and privilege of traveling up north to photograph our dear friend, Moira Finnegan…now known as Moira Caruso, and her, now husband, Jeffery Caruso for a beautiful weekend to celebrate their marriage. From a fun rehearsal afternoon and evening of the rooftop bar to their wedding day where they said their “I do’s” in the very first Baptist Church in America to the elegant and extremely fun reception at the Omni…… it was perfect.

Jeff & Moira have such an admirable relationship. I’ve known Moira for as long as I can remember and she was always been such a gorgeous soul. She is so driven, intellectual, caring and thoughtful. I had first met Jeff last summer when they traveled down to Hatteras to visit Moira’s family, soak up some beach time and also a chance for us to document an engagement session by the ocean. I was so happy to meet Jeff in person after hearing all of the wonderful things about him from Moira and her family. He is a true gentlemen and you could see how much he adored Moira. The engagement session reflected their personalities perfectly- laid back, relaxing and beautiful with a nice bottle of wine, some hors d’oeuvres, the ocean and their love for each other. It all felt so right being as Jeff had proposed to Moira here in Hatteras with very special rings that had belonged to his mother. I knew ever since that day, well actually ever since Moira called me expressing she wanted us to photograph her wedding, it would be a wedding weekend to remember forever.

We were so grateful to document moments that we know Jeff & Moira and their families and friends will cherish for a lifetime. Seeing Jeff with his dad and brothers and their families all together…Moira’s father, Mike, seeing her for the first time in her wedding dress….to her Mom’s face of joy as she walked down the isle. You could feel so much love and warmth from everyone for the celebration of their marriage. We felt so at home and loved spending the day with such a great group of people in the wedding party. We would re-live this weekend over and over again.

Congratulations again, Mr. & Mrs. Caruso, we thank you for allowing us this opportunity and becoming part of your family 🙂 We cannot wait to share these sneaks peeks with you and much more soon from your wedding weekend. We wish you all the best and we know we will see you again soon.
