Hatteras Island Family Portraits

I get so much joy in my heart when I get the chance to photograph such wonderful families that are growing their family, creating new memories and simply enjoying each moment spent with one another. I have known Brian, Evan and their pups for quite some time now and they have always been such an inspiring, kind and very active couple. Most of you might know them from their coffee shop, The Dancing Turtle, in Hatteras Village. Also known as, the best coffee shop in all the land! 🙂

A while back, one of Brian and Evan’s friends, Miyuki, contacted me to purchase a family portrait session to surprise the Scall family and to make sure they documented some beautiful moments of their new addition to the family, Niyol. It was such a calming, beautiful and loving session with them and their pups, Jackson and Haddie. To see two people so happy, in love, with a baby boy and their pups was an awesome experience for me as well. I couldn’t wait to share some moments of the photoshoot that we created within their home in Hatteras 🙂

Congratulations Brian and Evan on so many beautiful things happening in your life and such a handsome little Niyol! I will forever cherish the photos as well, thank you for allowing me into your home with love and generosity.
