New Year, New Things

Hi Guys!

How was your holiday season and first month of the new year? I can’t believe it is already February….crazy! Life just keeps moving in full speed. These past couple of months of less social media posts have been extremely necessary for myself in preparing for the year ahead, mental clarity and detoxification of so much technology. As you all may know, being an entrepreneur in the world today requires A LOT of time on the computer, your phone, social media and more everyday….and there is really only a few weeks out of the year that I allow myself to relax from it all in regards to my business and that was during our holiday season.

Ever since the Outer Banks Wedding Association’s wedding weekend and expo in mid January, I’ve been back in full swing with a full inbox everyday about eager and excited new couples planning their weddings for 2016 and 2017, many newly engaged couples and awesome portrait ideas for the warmer months to come, I cannot wait! Besides the preparation the expo and new inquiries of events to come, I also have spent a lot of time reading, learning and exploring new recipes, natural health and beauty remedies, yoga poses, a new cameraaaaa 🙂 :), new books, and just overall more inspiration for the new year. I have so many things I want to share with you guys!

But this post was just a welcome back post. Don’t think I’ve been laying on warm beaches with umbrella drinks (I wish)…..I’ve been working my tush off…just on things and ideas that you can’t physically see right now. Taking some time away from social media I think is something everyone should do from time to time. I can’t wait to start sharing everything with you guys but for now…I will just leave you with some pictures from some beach adventures from these warm and sunny January and February days we have had recently on the Outer Banks. I just love home 🙂
